Programmr is an online lab for programming enthusiasts to assess, improve and showcase their programming skills. It offers hands-On courses in jQuery, java, PHP, python. C++ and C# , Android programming amongst others.

One of the most popular coding website on the web. They offer Premium and free courses. Anyone can sign Up to be an instructor. Some of their top programming courses are javascriot, ruby on rails, shell scripting, Bash shell in Linux and lots more.

#3. TREEHOUSE https://www.teamtreehouse.com
Learn from over 1000 videos created by expert teachers on web design, coding, business, and much more. Practice what you've learned through quizzes and interactive Code Challenges. This style of practicing will allow you to retain information you've learned and you earn badges for your hardwork which is visible to employers and recruiters. For $25 per month, you can gain access to Treehouse's library of 1,000+ videos and take interactive coding challenges. For $49 per month, you can unlock bonus content and gain the ability to download videos for watching offline.

Boasts of more than 25 million learners around the world. They offer coding courses in Git, angular, Java, SQl, APIs, python etc. In addition, they have courses that cover markup languages (e.g., HTML) and stylesheet languages (e.g., CSS).

Code School offers Interactive(you watch video tutorials) programming courses then put those into action with interactive coding challenges which are organized into paths based technology. They offer both free and paid courses.

#6. KHAN ACADEMY https://www.khanacademy.org/
With Khan Academy, you can learn programming for free. KA relies heavily on video. Courses are offered in different programming languages and you also learn at your own pace.

seems its the best resource for both gurus and rookies.
